La Vie en Vert is a reception centre with 110 beds, approved by Jeunesse et Sports and the Ministry of Education, divided between two houses in the heart of the Northern Vosges Nature Park. La Vie en Vert means a lifestyle with a firmly ecological orientation, using selective waste sorting, compost grinder, thermal weed control, bacterial kitchen fat breakdown, biodegradable washing up liquid, etc.
La Vie en Vert means facilities to promote nature and education: nest-boxes for bats and birds, natural meadowland, a pond with a variety of biotopes, green compost, hedgehog refuges, insect gardens, an arboretum, gardens of flavours and scents. La Vie en Vert means a team of professionals, including a co-ordinator with a BEATEP diploma in 'environment education', and a network, shared with the Piverts association (environment education) and the French Department of Forest, at your disposal. La Vie en Vert is an ecological lifestyle that we want to share with you by inviting you to the Foyer Saint-Jean hostel, where children can be accommodated in perfect security. |
